HPLC purity analysis of peptides — how to read a certificate
Published: · Last reviewed:
What is HPLC?
HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) is the standard method for quantitative analysis in analytical chemistry. The sample is separated on a chromatographic column, and a detector (UV-Vis or MS) records the fractions. The percentage of the main compound is calculated from peak areas.
How to read a certificate
Every peptiq HPLC certificate contains:
- Batch number — identifies the specific production lot
- Purity percentage — e.g. ≥98.5% means the main substance is at least 98.5% of sample mass
- Method — typically HPLC-UV or HPLC-MS
- Performing laboratory — independent accredited facility
- Issue date — certificates remain valid for the batch indefinitely
Independent laboratories
peptiq uses laboratories accredited under PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025. Every batch is analyzed before being released for sale, and a copy of the HPLC certificate is available on the product page.
